| A rather ratty early model AC unit leads a northbound empty coal train on this former L&N mainline on a beautiful North Georgia afternoon. The rolling green hills of the Chattahoochee National Forest rise beyond to the east while a few cars can be seen spotted up at a local industry. This was my first visit to the Etowah Sub, and I was quite pleasantly surprised. |
