| The UPS Shooter from Richmond North Bay to Chicago heads over the Tehachpi Loop on my first ever visit to the pass. Not only was this my first visit to Tehachapi, it would also turn out to be the busiest, both in trains and other railfans. SD40-2 #5023 was delivered in November of 1977. It was rebuilt into an SD40-2u by San Bernardino on December 28, 1988. This unit made it on to the BNSF as #6338. |
