| The Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum's annual Easter Photo Freight charges southbound across Humanson Brook Trestle on its way back to Sheepscot Station. While Humanson Brook doesn't look terribly ferocious this day, this shot might not have been possible just a week earlier. Heavy spring rains absolutely pummeled most of New England during March with many places receiving well over a foot of rain. As we were riding the train north this morning, the folks from the museum indicated that just a few days earlier, this relatively placid little stream was a raging torrent. |
