Remarks & Notes
On the last day of March 2010, two Keokuk Junction Railway crews are moving over 300 storage cars to dig out hoppers going back into service. The Peoria & Western set of Funits are shoving a set of stored aluminum coal hoppers west towards Lomax, and the former TPW's connection to the Santa Fe. The KJ crew at left waits to head out of the siding at Disco, Illinois and head east to LaHarpe for more cars. The section of track between LaHarpe and Lomax was last used three years ago when the bridge at Keokuk was damaged. STEVE SMEDLEY PHOTO
