| Sunset on the West Portico – The Mission Style architecture that was the hallmark of many of the railroad stations constructed on the West Coast, especially by the former Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe, is evident in this late afternoon view of the West portico of the passenger station in Downtown San Diego California. It sort of makes you wonder who has passed through these doors over the past 70 years. Also note, the really rad stretch golf cart that Amtrak uses to shuttle 1st. class and disabled passengers out to the platform. |
