| In a scene that is unlikely to be repeated anytime soon, Pere Marquette 1225 doubleheads with Nickel Plate Road 765 to haul a 31-car freight on the Great Lakes Central Railroad northwest of Elsie, Michigan. At the end of 2009, the Pere Marquette 1225's 1472 day inspection came due and she will be out of service for an indefinite period of time. |
