Nearly twenty years ago, before the stringing of overhead wires at this once popular photographic location, 50035 Ark Royal, in fresh Network SouthEast livery, thunders through West Ealing on an early afternoon Paddington to Oxford service in May 1990. All the rollingstock in this image has been consigned to history, although 50035 survives in preservation.
