Used on many of the "Last of Steam" trips around Northern California, #1744 ended up on display in Corinne, Utah. In 1981, she was moved to Heber CIty to run on what was then known as the Heber Creeper. She would later go to Texas, then Louisianna, and then to Alamosa, Colorado where she is now undergoing major boiler work.
