Remarks & Notes
The restored Maywood Station includes NYS&W S2 #206, the only remaining unit of Suzy-Q's fleet of six S2s. It was delivered on March of 1942 and ran until it was retired in 1986 (sadly not even a year after a major rebuilt in 1985). When I was a kid I'd ride my bike to this station, hoping against hope to find an ALCO, but never did. Now, thanks to this display, I can do it anytime I want. More information can be found on this great piece of history at the website of the wonderful folks who have restored her, here - maywoodstation
