| Remarks & Notes |
| How many small towns across this country have a depot in just such condition? Tucked away in the quaint village of Pittstown, NJ, down what seems to be a private driveway (but is actually a public access point for the rail trail) the observant passerby will find the town's historic depot. Pittstown was the terminus of a short Lehigh Valley RR branch line from nearby Landsdowne. Once a bustling center of business where local farmers brought their peaches, milk, ice, and other goods to be loaded onto the rails for shipment to New York and Pennsylvania, today the structure is long neglected, but still stands to see another Fall. |
