| Here's the result of the National Railroad Museum's decision - a beautiful locomotive stuck in the middle of her rebuild, now destined to Rust In Peace in Green Bay.
So to the Sandberg family and the Friends of the 261: Thank you for sharing the 261 with us for 15 years and Godspeed in finding another locomotive - one that can be purchased or leased from an organization that cares more about preserving living history than making money.
To the National Railroad Museum: May you close and your collection be distributed among museums that actually care. |
