Is there a reason the CP F-unit from the Royal Canadian was numbered the same (1400)? Posted by Bill Hooper on November 4, 2009 According to Canadian Trackside Guide unit was delivered as CP 4099 but changed to 1400 to give passenger units a seperate series and upgraded to FP9 standards..Became VIA 6550 then Nebkota 55 and when repurchased by CP original number was used as it was also lowest number of F passenger fleet..Nebkota 54 was originally CN 6541 and number as CP 1401:2 - Post a Comment - (Registration is no longer required to post photo comments.)
