A good 'ol fashion runby! It's 1958 and the Nickel Plate Railroad is about to retire #765 but not without one last hurrah. Fans gather by Carland's Elevator with their Rolleiflex, Kodak and Bell & Howell cameras hoping to forever capture a moment of history. Thanks Nickel Plate - may she be reborn and run again. And, she was. Interestingly - she's been with the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society longer then she had been with the Nickel Plate Railroad itself.
A nostalgically styled zoom pan; crisp at 1/6th of a second. bw
Pace and pan shots of trains from on the ground or in the air. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.
A collection of engines, cabooses, cars, etc., great and small that are past their prime, but represent a spirit of railroading that will never pass away!!
