Remarks & Notes
The 42nd Street Shuttle waits at GCT before continuing its perpetual ping-ponging back and forth to Times Square. At 0.8 miles, this is the shortest subway line in New York City, and yet it is surprisingly busy at most times of the day (this shot is about 9PM and on the closed door side of the platform). Built in the mid 1980s in Barre, VT by Bombardier, the R62As are remarkably spartan cars.

It's dark, hot and too much people in this mass transit transportation!
