Canadian Pacific power through the years. Canadian Pacific Railway 4-6-2 2317, one of almost 500 Pacific-type locomotives employed by the CP on freights as well as passenger trains in the '20s, '30s and '40s, eases off the turntable while the railroad's newest generation of superpower, CP 8795, a 2007-built ES44AC, looks on.
