| At just before 6pm, UP 1989 leads train #6 a little more than 2 hours late into Chicago Union Station ... this was fortunately timed, as the sun in the summer gets far enough north in the early evening to get a nice shot on an inbound (north-facing) Amtrak (and allows folks who work until 5pm to get to Roosevelt St. Bridge in time). This was a nice surprise. Thank you to UP's Ogden, UT asset manager for the fine loan to Amtrak. |
