| Having left South River before 698 started boarding passengers there (and making good time down to Huntsville) I thought I'd tie on a lure and cast a few from the boardwalk along the south shore of Hunter's Bay while waiting for the Northlander to cross the old bridge at the other end, but no sooner than getting my rod and reel assembled we heard him blowing for a crossing at the north end of town so down went the rod and up went the camera. Locally known as "Thunder Bridge" since time immemorial the kids these days might now have another name for this bridge, but I only know it by the old one. |
