Imagine being so far out in the middle of nowhere that it's nearly an hour's drive to the nearest gas station. Imagine sitting in this absolutely middle-of-nowhere spot, waiting for the Deseret Power Railway's empty coal train to depart Bonanza Power Plant, and seeing a big white pickup bump over the next crest in the road. Image the utter shock you feel when the truck pulls up next to you and the driver leans out his window to ask: "Are you Dave Honan?" (OK, so maybe you wouldn't feel much in the way of utter shock, since that's not your name.) This was my introduction to fellow RP contributor Dick Ebright, who was tremendously gracious in providing this stranger in a strange land more assistance and advice than I could have expected during the two days I spent as a guest in his neighborhood. After we spent a while chatting, the radio crackled to life with the engineer's announcement that his train was pulling from the plant, and we captured the train passing by our cameras at 33 Mile.
