| WMSR 734 powers a photo freight around Helmstetter's Curve past the barn during a Lerro Productions photo charter. Sadly, the barn burned down on July 9, 2009 injuring Mr. John Helmstetter and causing thousands of dollars in losses. Despite numerous trips to the Western Maryland Scenic over the years, this is the only photo I have of the barn and livestock, which were also lost in the fire. |
