The disturbing thing is that there are these deadlines all over the country. There is one just like it in West Colton outside of Los Angeles California and I hear there is another up in Richmond near San Fransisco. BNSF has these too. It would be interesting to know just how many power units are in storage across the country right now.

Add Monroe, LA to the list. We have about a half-mile long line of stored power that has been there for at least 6 months. Most of the units are older models: SD40T-2's, SD60's, etc.
