Alex the brakeman gives us a friendly smile as the WAJO NANATASIS, the "Cog's" first diesel shoves it's lone car up Mt. Washington. The sound it makes at all times is one of a great big fan. If you follow the track, you see the clearing where Waumbek tank is located followed by the base camp at Mansifield Station. All the rest is God's handiwork. It is one of the greatest views I have ever seen in a long life.
