| CNJ #113, an Alco 0-6-0 locomotive built in 1923, is seen here undergoing a complete and comprehensive restoration outdoors under tarp by the former Reading Station in Minersville, PA. The group has spent thousands of volunteer hours getting her ready for steam up. A boiler test is expected mid-Summer 2009 and hopes are to run her to several different destinations, including the former CNJ line in Jim Thorpe, PA. Another first on RP. When she's done, she should look similar to John Dziobko's photo of #112 seen <here>. |
