| Norfolk Southern 4001, a Progress Rail model PR43C built from an NS SD50, is in full dynamic braking as the NS 996 test train is being brought to a stop in Carlock, Illinois on Tuesday June 9, 2009. Research and Development staff are glued to laptops in the cab of the loco.
