| What you see: a once proud model on the SP, now reduced to just a few units running by this time; 2 units backing on to their train at Wallisville Rd. What you DON'T see: the hostler on the ground off to the right, shaking his head and giving me the thumbs down to my cash in left hand, to close that darn hood door! I had spoken with him earlier while they were waiting for the signal to pull out and told him I'd make it worth his while to close it. He looked at what I had and decided it wasn't enough. Hrrrmmph! |
