| Remarks & Notes |
| The Ugliest Diesel Ever? Some might consider the CF7 to be the ugliest diesel locomotive ever built, others the BQ23-7, but for my money this contraption based on an E8(B) when seen from the front has no competition. Interesting ground signal, also see RTA (now Metra) 128 hiding in the shadows. Detail notes: the name of the pre-Ogilvie station seems to vary on RP so I am giving what I believe to have been the formal correct name; for the engine model I have put in something that seems most sensible, although not entirely consistent with the two other Crandall Cab shots I have seen on RP. For a similar maybe-ugly unit, do a search on RP for "RI 750" to see an EMC (before EMD!) AB6. |
