| One of the rare Clinchfield U36Cs leads a southbound coal train through the siding at Boone as 4-6-0 No. 1 rambles north with two coaches of fans. The second car behind the power is a Monon hopper, so this train was picked up from the L&N at St. Paul. The Monon was merged into the L&N two years earlier. |
