The first photo of a PN 7100 Class in the database! This is the first time Pacific National have purchased Electric Locomotives in their company history. The 7100 Class Electric Locomotives built by Siemens in Munich, Germany for PN Coal will haul Coal Trains on the Goonyella System in Northern Queensland. On Sunday, April 26, 2009, PN 7101 basks in the late afternoon sun at the Port of Brisbane after arriving on the ship Taronga on Thursday, April 23, 2009. The Locomotive will be hauled light-engine to Moolabin and then attached to a PNQ Intermodal Train for the journey north.
