This lovely little narrow gauge loco is Irish Mail. Built by Hunslet of Leeds in 1903 for the Dinorwic Quarry in Wales. It was rescued from scrap as an incomplete loco in 1969, it was restored and now lives on the West Lancahire Railway. It is seen here visiting the Steel, Steam and Stars Gala at the Llangollen Railway. A short temporary piece of track has been laid and the public are being given rides. Here we see her with her crew taking a break between runs.
