| A Norfolk Southern GP38-2 works Oak Island Yard while two widecabs rest in the background. The sprawling city of Newark, New Jersey's largest city, can be seen in the distance. Newark was once a hub for many railroads, with Oak Island being a Lehigh Valley Railroad facility. Note the catenary towers (with the catenary long removed) in the distance that once fed the Pennsylvania Railroad into Newark. |
