| Shay 2 with a short log train in tow negotiates the old Western Maryland horseshoe curve at Spruce, West Virginia. The cut up ties lying trackside were left there by CSX, which made rather costly improvements to the subdivision in the 1980's or 90's (date escapes me) just to abandon it a short time later. |
