| Looking east from the 10th West crossing toward downtown Salt Lake City as the YRO52R shoves slowly off the rickety lead from the Salt Lake Garfield and Western Railroad's yard after picking up these two boxcars. This remote control local is based out of the former D&RGW 4th South Yard less than a mile from this location adjacent the Amtrak depot just south of the the Grant Tower interlocking. The tall building dominating the horizon is the headquarters of the LDS church. |
