| An Nevada Northern hopper train pulls up to the water plug in the East Ely Yard before heading out to the mines. The blinding February snows may have most Nevada residents hunkered down, but it doesn't stop these hardy railroaders from keeping the copper ore flowing to the smelters at McGill. This 2009 photo almost looks like a colorized B&W from 80 or more years ago. |
