Equipment needs at some carhouses were augmented during the Canadian National Exhibition period. The 4310 is a loaner from Lansdowne Division, which provided no extras during CNE, to St Clair Division, which was always short of cars at that period. This class of car was most unusual on the ROGERS ROAD route, normally exclusively serviced by the 4550 series.
