| This is the cab interior of 4468 Mallard, the fastest steam locomotive in the world. Just imagine in 1938, sitting in that left seat looking through that small window at 126mph. The loco would be rocking around and the fireman would be working his socks off! This was taken by leaning into the cab using a tripod as actual entry isn't currently allowed. |
