| Remarks: When is a locomotive not a locomotive? When it wears a clever disguise. This Herzog Services maintenance of way power unit is actually a heavily modified EMD SW1000 switcher. Hiding under the cute little body is an 8-cylinder 645 engine, rated at 1000 horsepower. The trucks and exhaust stack give it away...Happy Halloween! |
