In a scene that could only be found on the Pacific Harbor Line, GP7 #101 rests alongside PHL SD40T-2 #51 and a motley assortment of power at their open-air locomotive facility in Wilmington, Ca. on a quiet Saturday morning. Sadly, this scene cannot be repeated today; all of the power seen in this photo has either been retired and/or stored, or returned to lessor. Just goes to show how quickly things can change.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
