Here’s a close up nose shot of Knox and Kane #39 that was involved in the engine house arson fire on March 16th, 2008 that put the nail in the coffin for the Knox and Kane. The good news is that all 3 locos involved were purchased for restoration a few weekends ago, including this former WM Geep, purchased by the Gorges Creek Railway for restoration.
