| Benxi steelworks' fleet of SY 2-8-2's has (had?) its own numbering system. A bit of detective work shows No.716 to be the former SY 0578, a 1972 product of Tangshan works. On a beautiful, crisp but breezy morning, 716 pulls into the throat of the MPD yard for a service, the colossal steelworks is beyond the loco. |
