With the Flood of 08 over HOPE! and the water down to a point you can see what happened. The 2 pier was under cut by the water and the flood just pushed it in to the hole, and pulled the the spans on the other sides in with it. Over a year to get a new one put in and Cuts the Iowa Northern in half. Up date with in a Month it will be open to trains 9/23/09.
