| It seems quite a few of you enjoyed my previous posting of 'Black 5' No.44806 at Berwyn. Here's a completely different view from the other (Chain Bridge Hotel) side of the River Dee. It's such a glorious location but much more difficult to photograph because it's against the light. Ex-LMS 'Jubilee' Class No.45593 'Kolhapur' makes a stirring sight as she sets off up the valley towards Carrog. She is now (2008) 74 years old! |
