A line of stored boxcars stretches as far as the eye can see on a cold March morning. The Loyalton Industrial Lead, formerly the WP Loyalton branch, served a lumber mill. The mill is gone and the line is up for abandonment. The bleakness of this image reflects the future prospects for both the tracks and the cars.
