| Remarks: Detail of the horribly mangled track of the west spur of the Forest Park branch. If it weren't for the new freight cars left on the line, a casual viewer would probably assume that no train could run this gauntlet with out derailing. |

Looks worse than the tracks behind my house, and those are ex-SP! Jeez, has to feel good on the engineers back. |

Great photo, Sam. It really puts into perspective how terrible those tracks are. What a bumpy ride it must be. |

A photographic representation one of the those MOW mantras of modern railroading: It'll hold 'til its sold! |

And I went to go ahead and think a section of track in Manitowoc, WI was bad after 5 years of no use. Well, I guess I was wrong so I am going to go ahead and congradulate you on such a great shot of the reality of tracks not so well maintained. |

That looks terrible, even for a spur. I wonder how the engine can stay on a track like that. |

I thought the tracks in Adelaide, Australia were bad! Did this train make its way to the final destination without derailing? |
