| Some of the rail that is framing my shot of UP 1995 and CNW 8701 in this pile dates back to 1894. These two units were brought to Altoona, WI for the 2008 Chicago & Northwestern Historical Society meet in Eau Claire, WI. Soon, three coach buses filled with members will be here for an upclose look. (note the one broken rail. The other end of the pile has all the other broken ends) |
