| And you thought dodging fellow students between classes was hard! This might be coolest college campus ever (except Central Washington University where the Milwaukee Road cut the campus in two). Portland State Universities has 4 of its own street car stops, three of which, like this one, are in the middle of campus. On its last stop on the west side of campus, a few people exchange seats on #008 to head into downtown Portland. From there, they can see the sights, transfer to the MAX, or even go railfanning at Portland Union Station (this photographer SWEARS he did not do that while in Portland, he was studying for finals like a good student). |
