Remarks & Notes
A Rohr RTL-I Turbo (as delivered and not rebuilt) rests at the Amtrak service facility in Rensselaer near the end of its active life. This Rohr turbo, is one of 7 five car sets originally acquired for Empire Service in 1976. After being taken out of service (in 1996 I think) this unit was rebuilt by Super Steel and assigned number 2158. However, after making a few runs the program was stopped and this unit was put into storage in Bear, DE where I believe it sits today.
