| SP #6460, trailing an SDP45, is arriving at San Jose's Cahill St. Station with the Coast Daylight. It is February of 1971 and Amtrak will soon appear. #6460 was never "conveyed" to Amtrak as it was destroyed in an accident prior to April 30th 1971. The metal building to the left contained several steam generators to produce heat for the depot. |
