With a full moon rising in the eastern sky, the CNIC engineer on BNSF 8975, an SD70MAC AC, walks to the cab after putting together the Heyworth Grain train on Tuesday March 25, 2008. The CNIC crew is building a grain train on whats left of the former ICG's Gruber Line through Central Illinois. The line, which was the charter Illinois Central line in Illinois, still serves the huge Tate & Lyle Grain elevator in Heyworth.
The loads will be taken south to Clinton, and more empties shoved North to spot the elevator.
