| The South Devon Railway operates on the former GWR Branch Line from Totnes - Buckfastleigh. The line is run by volunteers and a number of paid staff. They are dedicated to preserving a typical GW Branch line. During the course of the year they have a number of steam galas and this picture was taken at Easter gala last year . The locomotive 5542 was built by the GWR but is currently running in the lined black livery of BR. The train is seen rounding Caddaford curve just after leaving Buckfastleigh with the 1135 Buckfastleigh - Totnes service |
