| 47491 makes a stop at Bolton with a Glasgow to Manchester Victoria service back in 1984. Many changes today: This service is operated by 185 DMUs (not suited to services of this distance); The service now goes to Manchester Piccadilly; The old large building over the bridge has been demolished; The centre track has been removed.
All gone a bit boring really.... Mind you, the loco still exists as 47769 with Riviera Trains. |
