Another photograph by the late Peter Handford showing a Reichsbahn 2-10-0 that had been overtaken by the advancing British Army. According to Peter, the engine had run out of water being blocked in by the the ambulance train already on RailPictures. The driver had left his fireman on the loco who was wondering what we would or he should do next?
